The Raquette Evasion team is delighted to offer you a new activity based at the Plan du Vah chalet, between Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1850.
First-time dog sledding experiences are scheduled from January 20 to March 14 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon.
The experience lasts 45 minutes. You will be welcomed by Christophe and Quentin for an initial introduction by the two mushers, who will talk about their work and their dogs (photos welcome). Boarding is easy and the ride lasts at least 15 minutes (longer depending on conditions). The terrain allows the mushers to demonstrate their skills on a sunny and very enjoyable route.
Each sled can carry 2 people, or even 3 people (if and only if 2 adults + 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children), for a maximum combined weight of 175 kg. A minimum age of 3 years is required and this activity is prohibited for pregnant women. If you have back pain, a prosthesis, or any other health concerns, please obtain medical clearance to participate in the activity.
Warm, comfortable clothing is required (no ski boots).
Plan du Vah can be accessed by ski, bus, taxi, or hotel shuttle. A snow-cleared parking lot is available on site (maximum 5 vehicles).
