Sous la Loze – Sporty Snowshoeing in Courchevel 1850

Looking for a sporty snowshoeing outing in Courchevel with beautiful views and a real mountain atmosphere? The Sous la Loze route is regularly scheduled on Fridays and is designed for participants in good physical condition.

The programme includes a sustained climb through the Bois de la Loze, a route above Courchevel 1850, a tea break facing Mont Blanc and a fun descent through the snow when conditions are favourable.

A sporty climb above Courchevel 1850

The outing quickly gains altitude through the Bois de la Loze.

The climb is steady but demanding, with increasingly impressive views over Courchevel and the surrounding peaks.

When the weather is clear, the route offers a superb panorama of Mont Blanc.

Tea break with mountain views

A break is planned higher up on the route, giving you time to enjoy the scenery and recharge your energy.

It is one of the highlights of the outing: a peaceful moment away from the busy ski slopes, with the mountains stretching out in front of you.

A fun descent through the Bois du Plantrey

After the climb, the return follows a different route.

The descent through the Bois du Plantrey offers more playful terrain and, when snow conditions allow, the opportunity to enjoy fresh powder snow and more dynamic sections.

This combination of physical effort on the way up and enjoyment on the descent makes this one of the most appealing outings for anyone looking for a sporty snowshoeing experience in Courchevel.

Open to individual bookings

You can sign up even if you are not already part of a group.

Participants who register during the week are brought together to form a shared adventure snowshoeing group.

The outing is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.

You will be informed the day before whether the outing is confirmed. If there are not enough participants, an alternative outing or another route may be offered.
