Looking for a full day in the mountains, far from the usual routes? Planfournier is a full-day adventure snowshoeing outing designed for active participants who want to explore wide-open spaces, panoramic mountain views and a wilder Alpine environment.

This outing combines physical effort, immersion in nature, a mountain picnic and an enjoyable descent through the snow when conditions are favourable.

A full day of snowshoeing in wide-open spaces

The Planfournier route gradually gains altitude and leads into more open mountain terrain, with beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.

The climb is steady and sustained, but remains accessible to people who are used to walking for several hours and maintaining a regular physical effort.

As you progress, the atmosphere becomes increasingly Alpine, peaceful and remote.

A picnic in the heart of the mountains

Halfway through the outing, there is time for a picnic break surrounded by mountain scenery.

Far from the ski slopes and the busy resort, you can enjoy lunch in a natural setting with the Alpine peaks as your backdrop.

Each participant should bring their own picnic and enough water for the day.

A fun descent through the snow

After the break, the return route offers more playful terrain.

When snow conditions allow, several sections provide the opportunity to enjoy fresh powder snow, adding a real sense of adventure to the day.

Open to individual bookings

You can sign up even if you are not already part of a group.

Participants registering throughout the week are brought together to form a shared adventure snowshoeing group.

The outing is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.

You will be informed the day before whether the outing is confirmed. If there are not enough participants, an alternative route or another solution may be offered.
