Often scheduled on Wednesday mornings, this sporty hike is designed for people in good physical condition who want to discover a wilder, more demanding and more spectacular side of the mountains.

Col de Praslin is one of the favourite routes of the Raquette Évasion team.

The climb gradually gains height before opening up to superb views over the Montcharvet ridges and the surrounding peaks.

As you progress, the atmosphere becomes increasingly Alpine, with wide-open spaces, sections of deep snow and magnificent panoramas over the mountains around Courchevel.

A sporty descent through powder snow

After the effort of the climb comes the pleasure of the descent.

Depending on snow conditions, the route offers the chance to enjoy fresh powder snow, with a more dynamic and athletic descent than on a standard snowshoe outing.

This combination of a sustained climb, panoramic views and a playful descent is exactly what makes Col de Praslin such a popular choice for more active participants.

You can sign up even if you are not already part of a group.

Participants registering throughout the week are brought together to create a shared adventure snowshoeing group.

The outing is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.

You will be informed the day before whether the departure is confirmed. If there are not enough participants, an alternative outing or another solution may be offered.
